Today is the second official day of my Spring Break. Woohoo!
Speaking of spring things, the spring dance at school went pretty well. My friends and I had a lot of fun, even though the gym was super hot. No one special asked me to dance with them, though. Oh well, maybe next time. I really liked my dress, though. It was this light marsh green, with a low cut back and the neckline was lined with little sequins. It was really pretty.
My family and I also celebrated Easter this Sunday. We went out to brunch with my uncle, aunt, and cousins (twin ten-year-old girls) on my mom's side.. My dad and my uncle pretty much talked about basketball the entire time. They felt kind of left out because they were the only boys there. Some things never change.
Yay, so today I just spent the entire day relaxing. I hope that anyone who may read this is having fun, wherever they are, whatever they're doing!
See ya,

Shopping and the Big City
It's always a thrill to go to a big city. I live in the suburbs, so it's a very different environment. In big cities, one always sees people wearing the designer brands that most of us can only dream of. Even the little kids my mom and I saw were wearing designer coats. The buildings are also incredibly tall. It kind of freaks me out to look up at them, but I think it would be fun to live there.
The hotel room my mom and I stayed in was super small, but what room we had was really nice. It even had paintings on the walls and other nice decorations. We didn't have much of a view from our window, but it was still interesting to look out at the top of the building below us.
In the city, we went to this super fancy McDonald's. If it weren't for the french fries and burgers in their signature packages, one would have never guessed that this was a McDonald's!
My favorite part, though, was the shopping. My mom and I went into all the designer stores that we could never afford but we tried on some things anyway. My favorite was the Chanel store. The clothes are amazing and just so classy!
Hopefully I can live in a big city when I'm older.

One More Day
One more day until spring break, and I'm so excited! All I have to do is get through a boring day of classes. My bio test today went really well, though. Hopefully all my studying will pay off when we get our tests back. I'm kind of anxious to see what I got; I always get nervous when it comes to tests.
The spring dance is also tomorrow, and I'm really excited. I know the guy I like, "Dylan" (not his real name), will be there, and maybe, if I'm lucky, he'll ask me to dance. Or maybe I should ask him... Wow, I'm kind of nervous now. Anyways, now that I've decided to go with a group of friends that aren't being immature, I have everything to look forward to.
On Saturday after the dance, my mom is taking me for a girls-only shopping trip in the city, so I get to go away for a few days, or at least until Sunday evening. Hopefully I can get some shorts for summer! It seems like forever since I've seen green grass. Sure we have this dead brown stuff, but it needs to get some life in it. Today was the first day of Spring too. Maybe that will encourage it to grow...

Slow Week
This week is going by sooo slowly. At least I can look forward to the Spring Dance. That is, if my friends stop fighting. I think I'm going to go with a completely different group, actually. My older friends have invited me, and I'm going to take them up on that offer, because I have no date to go with. It's a sad life, but I'll get over it. ;)
I have this HUUUGE bio test tomorrow, which I just finished studying for. Go ahead, ask me anything. Hopefully I'll be able to answer. Right now at my school we are deciding on next year's classes, and I can't decide if I want to take Biology AP or a physics class. I really want to take an AP class next year, but I have heard really good things about the physics classes. If there are any readers out there, do you guys have any suggestions? What did you take for science in high school, and did you like it?
I'm also really excited for Spring Break because I get to go to this really big forensics tournament over the last weekend. I've been working on my speech, and hopefully this time I'll win! My speech is a special occasion speech, which means I have to give a speech about a fake special occasion. Mine is a graduation speech; I'm pretending to be this really smart nerd who was the president of every club and had a 4.0 gpa.
So, yep, that's about it.

Just an Ordinary School Day
Hello to anyone that may be reading this...
School was so boring today. Especially Spanish class. My friend Kylie and I were able to pass the time by writing notes, but it still went on for forever. Right now, we're learning subjunctive verbs, which are super boring, and to me, don't make that much sense.
I'm kind of frustrated with some of my friends right now. Our Spring dance is at the end of this week, and they've been acting really dumb over whose house to take pictures at. Ugh... If they go on like this, no one will have any fun! Some people need to seriously grow up.
Anyways, right now I'm in the middle of working on my huge pile of homework. Maybe I should stop writing an do some of it...

Hi there
My name is Lillian, and I've decided to start this new blog. I've always wanted to start one, so here I am! I guess we'll see how it turns out... Truthfully, though, I'll be surprised if anyone actually reads this.
Just a little about myself I'm in high school, and I'm on the forensics team (public speaking, not cutting up dead people). Forensics is seriously the only reason why high school doesn't completely suck. I also like art, but I'm not taking an art class this semester. All art is cool, of course, but I'm mainly into calligraphy. I like hanging out with my friends, and shopping at the mall. My favorite color is light green, and I have a pet hamster, named Ruphus, who I love very much. I guess I'm just your average 21st century teenager
So, yeah. Just thought I'd get my place in the blog world.
See ya,
Lillian
